Acceptable Use Policy
This policy keeps Tovuk safe for customers using paid scrapers, API keys, request results, billing, and support.
Updated June 21, 2026Scope
This policy applies to your use of Tovuk websites, scrapers, APIs, API keys, request inputs, results, support, billing, and any activity by users or agents acting through your account.
Responsible Data
Use Tovuk for data in a responsible way. Do not access private or restricted pages without permission. Respect applicable laws, privacy rights, copyright, site terms, and robots.txt rules. Ask a qualified lawyer when you are unsure.
Prohibited Activity
You may not use Tovuk for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or high-risk activity.
- Malware, phishing, credential theft, spam, botnets, scams, impersonation, fake engagement, or deceptive activity.
- Denial of service, website overload, unauthorized scanning, exploit hosting, or attempts to access another account.
- Illegal content, rights-infringing content, harassment, privacy violations, or activity that creates legal risk for Tovuk.
- Requests that try to bypass login requirements, access controls, rate limits, website blocks, or site protection systems.
Balance and Rate Limits
Do not bypass balance checks, billing checks, usage limits, account authentication, API key limits, scraper safety checks, or rate limits.
Personal Data
Be careful with personal data, even when it appears on public pages. Collect only what you need, avoid sensitive data unless you have a clear legal basis, and honor deletion or objection requests that apply to you.
Results
You are responsible for how you store, share, publish, enrich, or sell scraper results. Do not use results to violate privacy laws, copyright, contracts, platform rules, or the rights of any person or organization.
Security Testing
You may test your own account flows and API key handling. You may not test Tovuk infrastructure, other accounts, shared systems, authentication, billing, or internal networks without written permission.
Agents & Automation
You are responsible for actions taken by agents, scripts, SDKs, and CLI tools using your Tovuk account or API keys. Automation must respect limits, policy enforcement responses, website restrictions, and payment state.
Violations
We may reject requests, block results, revoke sessions, revoke API keys, limit account access, delete prohibited data, or suspend accounts to protect Tovuk, customers, websites, and legal compliance.
Changes
We may update this policy as risk patterns, legal requirements, or platform capabilities change. The latest version will be posted on Tovuk legal pages with an updated date.
